Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a School Psychologist, where you’ll impact the lives of elementary and middle school students across five campuses in the Fort Worth area. As an itinerant member of a dynamic educational team, you will apply your expertise to deliver essential services, conduct comprehensive evaluations, and contribute to students’ academic and social-emotional development for the upcoming school year.
Key Qualifications:
- Active License Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) or Associate School Psychologist Credential issued by the appropriate regulatory board.
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English is highly preferred.
- Previous experience in a school-based setting working with elementary and/or middle school students.
- Skilled in conducting assessments for AU, ED, OHI, and ADHD, as well as Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP).
- Exceptional communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
Your Role:
- Provide on-site psychological services, including evaluations, counseling, and interventions across five assigned school locations.
- Lead and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to develop and support Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Implement direct support and crisis intervention to address social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Partner with teachers, administrators, and families to design strategies promoting student success.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with local and state guidelines.
Position Details:
- Full academic year contract: August 10, 2026 – May 21, 2027
- 35 hours per week, aligning with the school calendar
- Majority caseload focused on elementary students, with some middle school coverage
