Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert care in Labor and Delivery, performing sterile vaginal exams independently.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to manage labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
• Administer critical care including Amnioinfusion, Epidural Anesthesia, and Magnesium Sulfate therapy.
• Use electronic fetal monitoring systems to assess fetal wellbeing and respond to abnormalities.
• Participate in the triage and assessment of obstetrical patients with precision and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with AWHONN, ACLS, BCLS, and NRP certification requirements.

Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California.
• Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience; 1.5 years can be considered based on expertise.
• Current certifications in ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, BLS, and NRP are essential.
• Proficient in the use of EPIC charting system and Meditech for documentation.
• Experience with high-risk deliveries and ability to float to the Mother Baby unit.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with a focus on patient-centric care.
