Software Asset Management (SAM) Specialist We are looking for an experienced Software Asset Management (SAM) Specialist to manage, optimize, and ensure compliance of software assets across the organization. This role requires strong expertise with enterprise software publishers and hands‑on experience with SAM tools, particularly Flexera . Key Responsibilities Manage and optimize enterprise software assets to reduce cost and risk Ensure compliance with software licensing agreements and vendor policies Conduct regular audits and usage assessments Act as a subject matter expert for at least one major publisher (Microsoft, Salesforce, Oracle, etc.) Operate and optimize the Flexera platform for accurate reporting and insights Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to strengthen SAM governance Support implementation and enhancement of SAM tools and processes Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in Software Asset Management (SAM) Strong expertise with one or more major software publishers Proven hands‑on experience with Flexera Experience implementing SAM tools and processes (preferred) Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively Availability to support US time zones Preferred Qualifications SAM or related industry certifications Experience working in a large enterprise environment Knowledge of SAM best practices, licensing models, and industry trends Seniority level Mid‑Senior level Employment type Contract Job function Other Industries IT Services and IT Consulting #J-18808-Ljbffr Axiom Global Technologies
