Basic Job Functions:

The NSBHM Guide Builder responsibilities include running CNC lathes, running the Atomat notcher, maintaining the new/in-use roll inventory, using QMOS, using Gibbs Cam, building mill stands, building mill stand guides, maintaining accurate documentation of workflow in and out of the roll shop, and all other Roll Shop functions. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED
• 2 Years of experience in the operation of CNC equipment, Experience with G-Code and/or Cam software or equivalent education
