Purchasing and Inventory Coordinator

Overview Turner Staffing Group is partnered with a laboratory services company operating inside a gold mine in Kershaw, SC, looking for a Purchasing/Inventory Assistant to support day-to-day lab operations. This role is responsible for ordering supplies, maintaining inventory, and providing general administrative support to keep the lab running smoothly and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Order and track laboratory supplies, materials, and equipment to ensure the lab stays adequately stocked Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or overordering Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to place orders, confirm pricing, and track deliveries Receive, inspect, and organize incoming shipments and supplies Provide general administrative support to lab staff, including filing, data entry, and record-keeping Assist with maintaining purchase orders, invoices, and related documentation Communicate with lab personnel to understand supply needs and anticipate future orders Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe lab environment Follow all site safety policies and procedures Qualifications Previous experience in purchasing, inventory management, or administrative support preferred Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with inventory or purchasing software a plus Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work independently and take ownership of day-to-day supply needs Comfortable working in a laboratory setting located within an active mining operation Reliable transportation and consistent attendance What We're Looking For Detail-oriented individuals who take pride in keeping things organized and running smoothly Team players who communicate well and are responsive to the needs of lab staff Candidates comfortable working in a unique environment that blends lab and mine site operations Want me to build this out as a Word doc for distribution, or is this good to post as-is? #J-18808-Ljbffr
