Business Banking Manager

Position Title: Commercial Banking Team Leader Business Unit: Commercial Banking Reports To: Regional Manager of Commercial Banking Position Overview This position is primarily responsible for establishing banking relationships with middle market and large corporate customers in and around the region and for the management of a commercial banking team. The incumbent supervises and develops the commercial banking team to maintain and grow the loan portfolio and to develop and enhance customer relationships. The incumbent builds and maintains a portfolio and client base and develops new business and meets corporate clients' financial services needs. Primary Responsibilities Establish banking relationships with middle market and large corporate customers within the assigned geographical location. Build and maintain a portfolio and client base, including new business development and meeting corporate clients' financial services needs through cross selling and consultation. Develop, maintain and grow own client base. Manage assigned relationship managers and work with direct reports to achieve results set forth in the bank's strategic plan. Participate in developing marketing and sales plans with direct reports. Refer business opportunities to business partners at Wealth Management, Insurance, Treasury Management and other products and services offered by the corporation. Monitor and proactively manage team and personal portfolio credit quality; monitor and manage team portfolio reports. Review term sheets and preview memorandums and credit packages for approval and presentation to the loan committee. Maintain team compliance with various operating policies and procedures and regulatory requirements. Review market research on an ongoing basis to determine customer needs, volume potential, competitive strategies, etc. Perform other related duties and projects as assigned. Act as a risk manager for their businesses by understanding, reporting, responding to, managing and monitoring the risk they encounter daily as required by F.N.B. Corporation’s risk management program. Ensure compliance with regulatory laws and company procedures as a required component of all position descriptions.
