About the Role:
As an Occupational Therapist (OT) at Desert Peak Care Center, you will be responsible for implementing individualized treatment plans to help patients recover from injuries, illnesses, or disabilities. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary healthcare team to provide therapy services that promote functional independence, mobility, and overall well-being. Your expertise will enable patients to adapt to changes in their environments, develop new skills, and participate in daily activities.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each patient
• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to identify areas of strength and weakness
• Design and provide occupational therapy interventions to address cognitive, motor, and sensory impairments
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a seamless continuum of care
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and services
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
Current state licensure and certification as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate and patient-centered approach
