• Experience: 1+ years of urgent care or outpatient NP experience

Pay & Benefits

• Pay Rate: $150.00/hr (local candidates preferred; rate discussed upon application)

What You'll Do

• Provide urgent care services, including evaluation and treatment of minor injuries and illnesses
• Perform procedures such as laceration repairs, I&D, foreign body removal, splinting, and joint reductions
• Interpret diagnostic tests, including X-rays, EKGs, and point-of-care labs
• Support airway management and emergency stabilization
• Document patient encounters accurately in Epic EMR system
• Manage a patient caseload ranging from 25 to 50 patients daily, with flexibility for higher volumes during peak seasons

What You Need

• Active Virginia Nurse Practitioner license
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant urgent care or outpatient experience
• Proficiency in procedures such as suturing, I&D, and orthopedic stabilization
• Strong interpersonal and clinical skills in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Preferred

• Certification in advanced procedures or specialty areas in urgent care
