GP Medical Receptionist Permanent Part-Time | Dandenong Ranges Are you an experienced GP Medical Receptionist seeking a permanent part-time role in a well-run, high-quality medical practice located in the beautiful Dandenong Ranges? We are looking for a motivated and professional receptionist to join our proud, energetic and resourceful Reception Team. You will be part of a friendly and supportive group who play a vital role in ensuring our practitioners can remain focused on delivering outstanding patient care. Our multidisciplinary team includes GPs, nurses, psychologists, a dietitian, a diabetes educator — all passionate about providing the highest standard of care to our community. About the Role Permanent part-time position, 8–20 hours per week Shifts across 2–3 weekdays , including mornings and/or afternoons Participation in the following roster: One weekday evening shift (until 8:00 pm) Saturday morning shifts (shared rotating roster) Flexibility to cover planned and unplanned leave to support the wider team Immediate start available for the right candidate About You You will bring the following skills, experience and attributes: Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills Ability to manage phone calls and patient interactions professionally and confidentially in a fast paced environment Knowledge of Medicare GP item numbers (preferred) Experience using Pracsoft and Medical Director (highly regarded) Strong attention to detail and adherence to established policies and procedures A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous quality improvement Ability to prioritise tasks, manage competing demands and work effectively under pressure Strong computer skills, including Windows, Microsoft Office, email, internet use and EFTPOS Sound judgment and well-developed problem-solving skills Ability to work both independently and as a collaborative team member Why Join Us?
