Tax Preparer / Enrolled Agent

Job Description Are you an experienced Enrolled Agent who loves solving IRS problems and helping clients get peace of mind? We're looking for a detail-oriented, proactive Enrolled Agent to join our growing boutique accounting firm. At Saavedra Group , we specialize in tax resolution, tax preparation, and strategic planning for business owners. What You'll Do: Represent clients before the IRS and state tax agencies in audits, collections, and offers in compromise Analyze client tax issues and develop effective resolution strategies Prepare individual and business tax returns (1040, 1120S, 1065, etc.) Communicate with clients to gather documents and explain resolution plans Collaborate with our team to ensure timely and accurate filings Requirements: Active Enrolled Agent (EA) license Minimum 2 years of experience with tax resolution and tax prep Comfortable using Drake Software (or willing to learn) Strong communication and follow-up skills Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required What We Offer: A supportive team environment with growth opportunities Flexible schedule options Steady flow of tax resolution cases and preparation work Office in North Bergen, NJ Competitive pay based on experience Company Description Saavedra Group LLC is a boutique accounting and tax advisory firm based in North Bergen, New Jersey.
