FirstOption Workforce Solutions is hiring CDU Technician s for a company that supports advanced cooling systems in data center environments. This position is responsible for assisting with the installation, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of Coolant Distribution Units (CDUs) used to support high-density AI and computing hardware.

Responsibilities :

• Assist with the installation, startup, and commissioning of Coolant Distribution Units (CDUs) and related cooling system equipment
• Perform piping connections, hose installations, system flushing, pressure testing, and leak detection activities
• Monitor and verify coolant flow rates, fluid quality, temperature settings, and alarm functionality to ensure optimal system performance
• Conduct inspections of pumps, heat exchangers, filters, valves, and electrical components to identify maintenance needs
• Troubleshoot cooling system issues and support repairs under the guidance of senior technicians
• Complete service reports, maintenance records, and testing documentation accurately and on time
• Follow all safety protocols, site requirements, and industry best practices while working in technical environments

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required ; technical trade school training or experience in HVAC, plumbing, mechanical maintenance, or a related field is preferred
• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, or equipments diagrams to support installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities
• Basic knowledge of hydraulics, fluid systems, plumbing, and electrical controls
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment and follow technical instructions
• Ability to work overtime and occasional Saturdays to support project and operational needs
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work safely in industrial or technical environments
• Commitment to workplace safety, including strict adherence to Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, job site safety regulations, and always wearing required PPE

Schedule

• Monday - Friday
• 7 AM – 5 PM
• Some Saturdays required

• $25/Hour
