Shipping Coordinator

Responsibilities Responsible for the receipt and shipment of incoming materials, supplies, and products. Receives goods, verifies items against the record of shipment, and inspects condition. Gathers, verifies, and packs items for shipment according to specifications and the transportation method used. Records received and shipped items according to established procedures. May route incoming items within the company as directed. Required Qualifications High school diploma required. 3+ years of relevant work experience in shipping, material handling, or administrative support. Preferred Qualifications Problem Solving: Solves routine problems by using standard procedures and/or processes. Customer Response: Responds to standard requests from internal or external customers. Planning and Organizing: Manages own time to meet deadlines through guidance of others within a specified timeframe. Teamwork: Works with others within own area or department to achieve team goals; scope of basic knowledge and skills. Ability to organize and prioritize tasks and make appropriate decisions. Ability to work in a production-oriented environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
