Required Skills & Abilities Must have the ability to communicate in English both verbal and written Able to lift 50 to 60 pounds to move tables and stacks of chairs Previous banquet or catering event set up experience a plus Flexible availability to work AM, PM, mid-shifts, holidays and weekends Job Description Set up room, audio visual, dance floor and stages according to the banquet event order. Communicate with Food & Beverage Manager, Banquet Captain and Catering Sales Manager to ensure event set up expectations are properly executed. Break down and clean all meeting rooms after events have concluded and properly store and organize tables, chairs and audio-visual equipment. Follow established cleaning schedule of meeting rooms to ensure they stay presentable for site visits and walk-throughs.
