Responsibilities
As a Systems Engineer II here at Honeywell, you will contribute to the design, development, and implementation of advanced Avionics systems on the Next-Gen Anthem Integrated Flight Deck platform team. As a flagship product, the Honeywell Anthem Flight Deck System is not just another avionics product; it is a visionary endeavor that employs cutting-edge technologies to redefine how pilots interact with flight information and aircraft systems.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to impact the advancement of cutting-edge avionics technologies that improve the efficiency, reliability, and safety of aircraft systems, helping to shape the future of aerospace innovation. You will work alongside a diverse team of engineers, developers and designers to create and implement forward-thinking Avionics solutions.

Responsibilities

• Support design, development, integration, and verification of avionics systems on the Anthem Integrated Flight Deck platform
• Participate in system architecture and design activities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in software, hardware, safety, certification, and test
• Develop, analyze, and manage avionics system requirements
• Support system architecture definition, trade studies, and integration
• Participate in verification and validation activities
• Perform system impact analysis and support root cause investigations
• Support certification artifacts and compliance documentation
• Support troubleshooting and issue resolution during development and testing

Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
• ~2 years of systems engineering or related experience
• Working knowledge of requirements, integration, and verification

• Experience with requirements or modeling tools
