Desktop Support Technician

We are seeking a customer-focused Desktop Support Technician to provide end-user technical support in a field-based environment. This role requires a strong combination of technical troubleshooting skills and excellent customer service, as technicians will support users both remotely and onsite.

• Provide desktop and end-user support for hardware, software, mobile devices, and peripheral equipment.
• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and repair workstation hardware and operating systems.
• Support application issues and assist users with technical requests and incidents.
• Perform device deployments, upgrades, migrations, and imaging activities.
• Troubleshoot basic network connectivity and communication issues.
• Document incidents, service requests, and resolutions through an enterprise ticket management system.
• Deliver professional and timely support to end users while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Assist with printer setup, connectivity, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve escalated technical issues.

• Minimum of 1-2 years of desktop support, technical support, or help desk experience.
• Experience installing, troubleshooting, supporting, and repairing desktop and laptop systems in a Windows-based environment.
• Basic knowledge of network troubleshooting and connectivity issues.
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple support requests.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to lift and carry equipment and work in physically demanding positions when necessary.

• Experience supporting enterprise desktop environments.
• Knowledge of user account administration, mobile device support, and workstation deployment processes.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems and standard IT support procedures.

Intermediate

This is a Contract position based out of Ashland, KY.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Ashland,KY.
