Reporting to the Director, Process Engineering, the SMT Process Engineer will be in charge for process-engineering capabilities focused on cost, quality and delivery improvements in order to hold up a manufacturing organization.WHAT A TYPICAL DAY LOOKS LIKE:Program, set up, debug and troubleshoot SMT manufacturing equipment including Laser Marking, Screen Printing, Solder Paste Inspection, Glue Dispenser, SMT Placement, Reflow, Automated Optical Inspection (AOI)Define, implement and evaluate proposed designs and processes forEstablish robust, repeatable and reproducible process parameters.Trouble shoot process related issues for RCCA.Participate in activities pertaining to cycle time and process improvements.Implement statistical process controls on new and existing products.Develop and maintain process documentation.THE EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING TO ADD TO THE TEAM:Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience and training.7+ years of experience in position as engineerExperience with brands such as ASYS, DEK, MPM, ASM, Fuji, Yamaha, Koy Young, BTU, Heller, ERSA, ASYS, Nordson, YJ Link, and Nutek is ideal.Analyze yield data and drive RCCAPFMEA, DOE's and SPC is a plus.Autocad and Solidworks is a plusSix Sigma certification preferredJS21What you'll receive for the great work you provide:Full range of medical, dental, and vision plansLife InsuranceShort-term and Long-term DisabilityMatching 401(k) ContributionsVacation and Paid Sick TimeTuition Reimbursement Application Deadline:Applications for this job position will be accepted for at least five days following the job posting start date below and continuing until the end date below or until the position is filled.
