Job Summary:

The Hot Kitchen Production Associate is responsible for preparing, cooking, and handling food products in a fast-paced production environment. This role ensures all food is cooked according to recipes, quality standards, and food safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook food items according to company recipes and production schedules
Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, kettles, and mixers safely
Monitor food temperatures to ensure proper cooking and food safety compliance
Follow portion control and quality standards
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations
Assist with ingredient prep, including cutting, measuring, and mixing
Label and store food properly following FIFO (First In, First Out)
Follow all GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) and HACCP guidelines
Complete production and temperature logs accurately
Work with team members to meet daily production goals

Requirements:

Qualifications:

Previous kitchen or food production experience preferred
Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food safety practices
Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Reliable and punctual

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to work in hot environments
Frequent bending, lifting, and repetitive motions

Work Environment:

Hot kitchen / food production facility
Exposure to high temperatures, steam, and kitchen equipment
Fast-paced environment with strict deadlines

Expectations:

Maintain food quality and consistency
Follow all safety and sanitation standards
Ensure production areas are clean and ready for the next shift
Work efficiently to meet production targets
