Job Description

• Perform thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and in-depth medical history evaluations
• Aid in diagnosing surgical conditions by interpreting imaging studies and laboratory results
• Work closely with surgeons to develop and implement patient-centered surgical treatment strategies
• Provide vital intraoperative assistance, including preparing operating rooms, ensuring effective patient positioning, and managing instrument handoffs
• Offer outstanding pre-operative and post-operative care that encompasses medication administration, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Experience in clinical rotations with a surgical focus is highly preferred

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Certification in BLS and ACLS is required
• Applicable state licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
