Construction Project ManagerJob Overview

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee commercial construction projects from pre-construction through completion. The ideal candidate will have strong project management, client relations, subcontractor coordination, budgeting, and scheduling experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget .

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors.

• Review plans, specifications, contracts, and project documents for constructability and budget requirements.

• Coordinate the design and construction process with owners, architects, and engineers.

• Review subcontractor bids, negotiate pricing, and manage contracts and subcontracts.

• Develop and maintain project schedules and monitor progress.

• Track project costs, budgets, change orders, and financial performance.

• Prepare regular project updates and reports covering costs, schedules, and progress.

• Identify potential risks, delays, and cost issues and develop solutions proactively.

• Coordinate consultants and subcontractors to resolve construction issues.

• Ensure projects comply with applicable building codes, safety requirements, and quality standards.

• Maintain high standards of quality, communication, and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction/project management experience preferred.

• Strong experience managing commercial construction projects.

• Experience with subcontractor, vendor, and client coordination.

• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.

• Ability to manage budgets, schedules, contracts, and project documentation.

• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Project .

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to following projects through completion.

• Knowledge of construction, engineering, and architectural principles.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with retail, restaurant, multifamily, medical, office, or build-to-suit projects .

• Experience with construction management software.

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.

• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.

• First Aid/CPR certification.
