Certified CVOR Surgical Technologist

Join our team at Jackson HealthPros as a Certified CVOR Surgical Technologist where you'll function as a member of a cardiac team, expertly assisting physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures. You'll ensure the safety and well-being of patients by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and providing support to the surgical team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
• BLS Certification
• 2 years' experience as a certified CVOR technologist in a cardiac surgical environment
• CST required
• Level 1 trauma experience
• Competency with Robotics (Davinci Xi), PCNLs, Nephrectomy's, Ureteral Reimplants, Hysterectomy's, Cystectomy's, Colpocleisis, Hysteroscopy's and Ureteroscopy's
• Experience caring for patients across the lifespan from pediatrics to geriatrics

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Weekend requirement: 1:4 weekends, 12-hour shifts
• Call requirement: one overnight trauma call from 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM. Specialty team call is scheduled per team rules
• Equipment: Storz, Stryker, Olympus, Intuitive Robot
• EMR: Epic
