Plumbing Engineer / Engineer in Training (EIT)
Join a collaborative MEP engineering team where you'll gain hands-on experience designing plumbing systems for a variety of commercial projects while working alongside experienced Professional Engineers. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer looking to build technical expertise, expand project responsibilities, and grow within a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design of plumbing systems for commercial and institutional projects.
- Prepare engineering drawings, plans, specifications, and technical documentation using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Perform plumbing calculations, code reviews, and field observations to ensure design compliance.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support project planning, construction administration, and site inspections for assigned projects.
- Develop practical engineering solutions while managing deadlines and project priorities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline from an accredited university.
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certification or successful completion of the FE Exam (or actively pursuing certification).
- Approximately 3+ years of engineering experience in plumbing or MEP design preferred.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
