Mobile Phlebotomist

Job Details Full Time Shift : Monday-Friday Available Shifts : 4:30 am-12:30pm, 5:00 am-1:00pm, 5:30 am-1:30pm every other weekend Pay Range : $17.50-$21.50 based on experience with mileage reimbursement Role Mobile Phlebotomist works with the Phlebotomy Supervisor to ensure efficient and accurate workflow of the Mobile Phlebotomy staff. He/she is responsible for monitoring the phlebotomy area and the Mobile Phlebotomists to ensure that all applicable policies and procedures are followed. Tasks and Responsibilities Drive vehicle to client facilities, typically nursing homes, as directed by company dispatcher. Unload phlebotomy supplies and take to patient's bedside to collect samples ordered by physician. Accurately identify patient before collecting specimen(s). Accurately collect, label, process, and deliver specimens obtained from patients. Reload equipment and all necessary specimens to vehicle for prompt delivery. Regularly communicate with dispatcher to report status and location. Strict adherence to Universal Precautions in controlling blood-borne pathogens and infectious disease exposures. Maintain required certifications, health requirements, and operational requirements.
