Warranty AdministratorThis position works Monday - Saturday on a rotating 2-week schedule shared with our other Warranty Administrator:Week 1 (Saturday Week): Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM; Saturday 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM; off WednesdayWeek 2 (Midweek Week): Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM; Thursday 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (covering for the other Warranty Administrator); off SaturdaySchedule repeats every two weeks. Hours will not exceed 40 per week - team members may be released early on any shift if needed to stay within the 40-hour limit.Responsibilities:Prepare, submit, and track manufacturer and extended warranty claims through the appropriate portals, ensuring accuracy and timely submissionReview repair orders, technician notes, and parts records to confirm warranty paperwork is complete and meets manufacturer requirementsMonitor claim status, research rejected or debited claims, and resubmit or appeal as neededReconcile warranty receivables with the accounting office and ensure claims are paid and closed out in a timely mannerPartner daily with Service Advisors and Technicians to gather the information needed to process claims correctly the first timeMaintain organized warranty logs, claim files, and reporting for audits and manufacturer reviewsAssist with other Service department administrative tasks as needed, including covering for the other Warranty Administrator during scheduled days offJob Type: Full-timePay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hourQualifications:Previous experience with warranty administration or dealership claims processing preferred, but not required - we're happy to train the right candidateStrong attention to detail and comfort working with paperwork, documentation, and deadlinesExperience with dealership management software (such as CDK or Reynolds & Reynolds) is a plusGood communication skills and the ability to work well with Service Advisors, Technicians, and accounting staffAbility to stay organized and keep multiple claims moving in a fast-paced service departmentHigh school diploma or equivalent required
