Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time speech-language pathologist role offers the ability to create meaningful change, working closely with students with a wide range of needs including Other Health Impairments (OHI), learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, and language impairments. With a manageable caseload of approximately 45-50 students and a consistent 35-hour work week, you’ll have the chance to apply your expertise and collaborative spirit in a supportive school setting.

Essential Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current and valid Maryland SLP license
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Experience working with secondary (middle and high school) age students preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and other professionals

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct therapy services to students in alignment with their IEPs
• Assess, diagnose, and develop individual treatment plans for diverse communication needs
• Participate in IEP meetings, completing timely and thorough documentation
• Collaborate with educators and families to support student progress
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment
• Maintain accurate records and provide progress updates as needed
