Operating Room Surgical Technologist

Mercy is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support Main OR procedures in a fast-paced acute care setting. The Surgical Technologist will prepare operating rooms, ensure proper sterilization of instruments, and maintain a sterile field. Responsibilities include setting up equipment, anticipating surgeon and team needs, handling specimens, and assisting with room turnover. The role collaborates closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nurses to ensure safe, efficient procedures.
