Staff Internal Auditor Group: Corporate Group North America Division: Group Staff Location: USA M'FIELD HTS OH NON ALLOCAT Job Family : Finance/Economics Job Type : Regular Posted : Jul 1, 2026 Job ID: 66494 Back to Search Results Job Description Job Purpose:The overall purpose of this role is to participate in the performance of various audit department assignments, which include evaluation of internal controls, financial verification, compliance with Local and Corporate policies and procedures, operations reviews and special projects.Average annual travel content of approximately 25%.Job Responsibilities:Plan and participate in selected audits and special projectsSurvey functions and activities to determine the nature of operations and the adequacy of the system of control to achieve established objectivesObtain, analyze and appraise evidentiary data as a basis for an informed objective opinion on the adequacy or effectiveness of the system and the efficiency of performance of the activities being reviewedPerform audits in a professional manner and in accordance with the approved programDevelop logical and coherent workpapers on a timely basis which are supportive of audit conclusionsMake oral or written presentations to management during and at the conclusion of the examination, discuss deficiencies and recommend corrective action to improve operations and reduce costWrite reports to management with audit findings after conclusion of the fieldwork.Qualifications, Skills & Experience:A Bachelor's degree in some discipline of business with a Master's degree preferred.2+ years of experience in Accounting, Audit and/or Business experience with strong preference for major public or corporate audit experience and exposure to manufacturing environmentA general understanding of accounting is desirableExcellent interpersonal and communications (oral and written) skills.Ability to work effectively with others.Fluency in English is required plus in a second European language; French, German or Italian would be an asset.Willingness to travel (25% of the time, including some weekend travel).Parker Hannifin is a Fortune 250 global leader in motion and control technologies.
