Our Assistant General Managers consistently demonstrate positive, energetic, and forward-thinking leadership and training abilities, focused on developing a high-performing team proficient in all areas of food preparation and exceptional customer service.MSE Branded Foods manages independently owned concepts, which include Chick-fil-A, Aviators, Grab 'n Fly, Air Capital Bar, Dunkin' Donuts, and River City Brewing at Wichita Dwight D. Eisenhower Airport. Part-time, full-time, and seasonal positions are available. We offer first-class pay, along with bonuses and incentive opportunities to our employees.This position is responsible for the day-to-day management of the restaurant or concept, with a focus on coaching, training, and leading Team Members. The qualified candidate must present a professional image at all times; be willing to coach, counsel, and develop Team Members to maximize sales and profitability, control expenses, meet budgetary constraints, promptly handle guest complaints, and ensure compliance with sanitation, safety, and food quality standards. Assistant General Managers are champions of our company standards and are expected to consistently model the behavior expected of Team Members. A new Assistant General Manager will work closely with the General and Regional Manager, who will invest their time and energy in helping you develop further and expand your job and interpersonal skillsets, and pave the way for advancement opportunities.Essential duties and responsibilities include:Ensure each guest receives excellent service by leading and modeling the MSE standards.Recruit, train, develop, and communicate through consistent daily interactions with all Team Members.Complete focal point review development plans for Team Members, including regular one-on-one follow-up regarding the progress of the development plans.Adhere to company policies, procedures, all state and federal wage and hour regulations, and restaurant filing responsibilities.Manage all processes, including line checks, pull thaw, prep lists, food inventory, beverage cost, truck orders, food safety, etc.Verify that all food is prepared to our specifications regarding portion, preparation, and plate presentation.Responsible and accountable for key results, including food cost, inventory levels, utility usage, and Health Department ratings.Responsible for execution of new initiatives, including new products and menu rollouts.Qualifications:High School Diploma or High School equivalency required. Bachelor's Degree preferred. Requires 1-2 years of management experience at MSE or another restaurant concept. Will be required to submit to E-Verify screening and pass a background check as required by Homeland Security and MSE Branded Foods.Physical requirements:This position requires regular attendance; the ability to work 45 to 55 hours per week; the ability to stand or walk for hours at a time; the ability to hear, speak, walk, climb, stand, reach, bend, kneel, stoop, lift and carry items up to 40 lbs. as needed; ability to tolerate significant temperature changes, and frequent immersion of hands in water and cleaning or sanitizing solutions.Computer skills:Basic computer skills required, proficient with various POS software and ERP type systems.
