Core Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree
• 10+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience
• Prior experience managing an aerospace supplier operation

Preferred Requirements:

• MBA or advanced degree
• Success driving lean manufacturing, continuous improvement initiatives

The successful General Manager will have responsibility for the performance, profitability, and continued development of the location's manufacturing operations. This leader will ensure production, quality, inventory control, maintenance, and supporting functions are aligned toward business objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of business unit performance with an emphasis on profitability, operational execution, and sustainable growth
• Establish a results-oriented operating environment centered around safety, quality, delivery, cost, and customer expectations
• Optimize manufacturing, materials, and maintenance activities to improve throughput, reduce operating costs, and strengthen overall plant performance
• Identify and execute opportunities to improve the organization's competitive position through Lean Manufacturing and process improvement
• Translate financial and operational performance into actionable priorities that improve P&L results and support business objectives
