Travel CVICU Registered Nurse - $1,788 per week

Job Overview TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN for a CVICU assignment in Nashville, Tennessee. Job Details Specialty: CVICU Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment type: Travel Responsibilities Provide critical care to patients with potentially life‑threatening heart conditions. Prepare and administer prescribed medications. Take samples for diagnostic tests; order, interpret and evaluate diagnostic tests. Apply hemodynamic, phlebotomy and IV protocols. Be called in for emergencies to provide CPR and operate defibrillators hospital‑wide. Educate patients and family members on how to manage recovery at home. Requirements 1-2 years of recent acute care experience. ACLS, BLS, NIH certifications. Minimum 2 years of RN experience. Physical ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty; lift 20 pounds, and lift up to 50 pounds on occasion. Ability to cope with stress and relate to people of all ages and backgrounds. Compensation Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
