Warehouse Associate

Warehouse Associate Job Summary: A distribution company for furniture and home items such as fitness equipment, electronics, and appliances is looking for a Warehouse Associate to join their team. This is a physically demanding job in a fast-paced environment where you are always on the move. You could be moving, staging, loading, unloading, assembling items, or keeping the warehouse clean, neat, and organized. Warehouse Associate Requirements: Loading and unloading trailers Pull orders and stage orders Organizing and stocking materials in the warehouse Stacking boxes of furniture on top of each other for storage Moving items primarily by hand, hand dolly, hand cart, pallet jack Utilize RF Scanners, electronic scanners Verify that orders are correct that are moving throughout the order process Keep the warehouse clean and organized using 5S principles Maintain inventory accuracy Loading trash and cardboard into compactor May also operate powered industrial equipment such as forklifts, cherry pickers, and electric pallet jacks Flexible to work in any area of the warehouse Schedule and Pay: 1st shift Monday - Friday 8:00am-4:30pm with some OT Saturdays 7:00am-11:00am $17.50/HR Warehouse Associate Qualifications: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted Must be able to lift, move, and maneuver large furniture and home items, assisted or unassisted, for the duration of the shift Able to stand and walk for duration of the shift Previous warehouse experience is preferred Able to use a scanner Attention to detail Excellent attendance Someone who takes pride in their work and is dependable and reliable Location: Wyoming, MI Position Type: Full-time; Evaluation hire What Makes Express Employment Professionals Different?
