POSITION Speech Language Pathologist, Outpatient, Monday-Friday, no weekends/holidays, 35 hours per week Focus Pediatric population with feeding/swallowing RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for planning and administering speech therapy treatment programs for patients to restore speech, language, cognitive‑communication, voice and swallowing disorders. Responsible for delivering and/or delegating quality patient care from admission through discharge, including patient and family education/training. Responsible for maintaining accurate and timely documentation including monitoring visit utilization and insurance authorization. Work will be performed in an ethical and legal manner following organizational policies, processes, protocols and procedures. Responsible for quality service delivery and internal/external customer relations for Madonna as a whole, including upholding the mission and values for the department and facility. SKILLS & ABILITIES Strong written and verbal communication Teamwork Interpersonal skills Organizational skills Problem‑solving skills EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Masters in Speech‑Language Pathology, ASHA certification (CCC) in Speech‑Language Pathology Current Nebraska Speech‑Language Pathology licensure eligibility required. Valid Nebraska driver's license and proof of good driving record required. CPR for Health Care Provider/CPR for Professional Rescuer preferred.
