Glendive Public Schools is looking for Temporary Custodian(s) to help keep our school(s) clean, safe, and running smoothly. This is a great short-term opportunity for someone looking to earn extra income without a full-time commitment.

College students are welcome to apply.

About the Role:

This is an as-needed position, used to assist with special projects or provide coverage when we are short-staffed.

What You'll Do:

• Clean classrooms, restrooms, and common areas

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors

• Empty trash and restock supplies

• Set up and take down furniture and equipment for school activities and events

• Perform minor repairs and report maintenance needs

• Help maintain school grounds and outdoor areas

• Respond to spills and unexpected clean-up needs

• Secure the building at the end of shifts

What We're Looking For:

• Dependable and able to work independently

• Strong attention to detail and time management

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stay active throughout shifts

• Experience is a plus, but not required

• Ability to complete required pre-employment screenings, including a custodial physical
