Assistant Manager, Business Development (Litigation)

We’re delighted to be partnering with a premier global law firm in the search for an Assistant Manager, Client Development – Litigation. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with practice leadership and business development professionals in supporting several of the firm’s leading Litigation, Investigations, and Regulatory practices, helping to drive client growth, cross-practice collaboration, and strategic business development initiatives. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to lawyers and stakeholders across the firm, leading high-impact client development activities, supporting key client relationships, and contributing to revenue-generating initiatives across a sophisticated and highly regarded litigation platform. We would love to speak with individuals who bring business development, marketing, or client development experience from a law firm or professional services environment. Prior experience supporting litigation, investigations, regulatory, or enforcement-focused practices would be particularly valuable. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: Partner with Litigation practice leaders and the broader Client Development team to implement strategic business development plans and initiatives. Serve as a key resource for business development and operational support across multiple Litigation Department practices. Develop compelling pitches, proposals, and client-facing presentations that support new business opportunities. Design and execute practice and industry-focused marketing and client development initiatives. Maintain and enhance business development collateral, including practice descriptions, capability statements, and competitive intelligence materials. Support the management of client and experience databases, ensuring accurate tracking of matters, engagements, and business development activity. Collaborate on website content, lawyer biographies, and other marketing communications across multiple channels. Coordinate client-facing events, webinars, presentations, and sponsorship-related activities from planning through execution. Lead and support legal directory submissions, surveys, and other profile-raising initiatives. Build strong relationships with partners and internal stakeholders, helping to identify opportunities and support strategic growth objectives.
