Network Engineer - Omaha

Salary: $75,000 - 90,000 per year Requirements:

• We need 3+ years of hands-on networking experience, ideally in an MSP or multi-client setting.
• We need strong troubleshooting ability across routing, switching, and firewall technologies.
• We need experience with at least one of the following platforms: Fortinet, Aruba, Meraki, SonicWall, or WatchGuard.
• We need a solid working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, NAT, and network security principles.
• We need the ability to juggle multiple priorities and stay effective in a fast-paced environment.
• Preferred experience includes work in MSP or IT services environments.
• Preferred certifications include Fortinet NSE, Aruba ACSA/ACSP, or Cisco CCNA/CCNP.
• Preferred experience with network monitoring and documentation tools.

• We partner with service desk and engineering teams to ensure incidents are resolved promptly.
• We design, deploy, and maintain network infrastructure solutions for client projects.
• We lead or support network upgrades, migrations, and new installations.
• We apply best practices for performance, redundancy, and security.
• We provide technical guidance during project planning and execution.
• We configure and manage firewalls, switches, and wireless networks.
• We carry out firmware upgrades, patching, and proactive monitoring.
• We maintain documentation for network diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
• We ensure client networks meet service-level and security expectations.
