CMM Operator

Job SummaryOperate CMM equipment to perform measurement, inspection, and testing of production materials and components using previously prepared inspection programs. Mounts or installs tools, attachments, fixtures, or work pieces on CMM.Principal Functional ResponsibilitiesJob functions:Measure products that companies manufacture and document their specifications.Inspect fixtures, check for certification, and communicate any issuesKeeping a record of inventory and maintaining the machine's software capabilitiesCreate program set-up and execution documentationHanding out operator check sheets and quality equipment to operatorsAssist in training other employees in CMM operationsQualifications and Skills1-3 years of experience and or training on CMM machinesProficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, math data, reports, and instructionsProficient in using measuring instruments, i.e. caliper, micrometer, height gages, etc.Build & maintain positive relationshipsTeam playerEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
