Working closely with the sales and marketing teams, the Sales Associate will play a critical role in driving revenue and supporting client success. Responsibilities Lead generation and outreach: Identify potential clients, initiate contact, and establish relationships through cold calling, emails, and virtual meetings. Build and manage a robust pipeline of prospects, consistently following up to move leads through the sales cycle and secure new business. Client needs assessment: Understand client requirements by asking insightful questions, offering tailored solutions, and presenting relevant Zephyrus Engineering services. Presenting and closing sales: Deliver virtual presentations, product demos, and proposals that showcase our value proposition. Work to convert leads into customers through effective sales strategies. Collaboration with marketing and sales team: Work closely with the marketing team to develop sales collateral and with the broader sales team to align on goals, share insights, and improve sales processes. CRM management: Maintain accurate records in the CRM, tracking interactions, follow-ups, and sales activities. Update information regularly to provide real-time insights to the sales team. Market and competitor research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to refine sales pitches and identify growth opportunities. Requirements Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Experience: 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in a remote setting and in industries related to engineering, construction, or technical services. Self-motivation and discipline: Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment with excellent time management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to build rapport and engage effectively with clients. Persuasion and negotiation skills: Ability to influence decision-making processes, overcome objections, and close deals. Proficiency with CRM software: Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to track leads, update records, and manage the sales pipeline. Tech-savvy and comfortable with virtual tools: Familiar with digital communication tools (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, etc.) and sales software.
