For additional information on remote work at Penn State, see** .**POSITION SPECIFICS**The School of Global Languages, Literatures, and Cultures at The Pennsylvania State University invites applications for part-time lecturer openings for the **2026 – 2027 Academic Year, including Summer 2026.****Job Duties*** Part-time lecturers will teach undergraduate resident and/or online courses in Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese, German and Slavic Languages and Literatures, French and Francophone Studies, Comparative Literature, or Asian Studies.**Requirements and Qualifications*** A Master’s degree in a related field is required.* In addition, successful candidates must either have demonstrated a commitment to building an inclusive, equitable, and diverse campus community, or describe one or more ways they would envision doing so, given the opportunity.These are one semester or summer session, non-tenure track appointments.Summer lecturers normally teach one to two courses.*Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until all of the vacancies are filled.***CAMPUS SECURITY CRIME STATISTICS**Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR).
