Information Technology Project Coordinator

We're seeking an IT Project Coordinator to support a large enterprise IT organization by coordinating project intake, maintaining project execution across Jira, and driving communication across cross-functional technology teams. This role serves as the operational backbone of the PMO—ensuring projects are properly initiated, organized, tracked, and progressing through delivery. You'll partner closely with Project Managers, business stakeholders, and technical teams while owning project coordination activities across multiple concurrent initiatives. Location: Hybrid, Broomfield, CO Hrs./wk : 40 Pay Range: $52/hr. Type: Contract Duration: 7/20-12/31 What You'll Do Coordinate project intake activities across enterprise IT initiatives, ensuring requests are properly triaged, documented, and routed. Manage intake efforts as mini projects from discovery through approval and handoff. Maintain Jira projects, including initiatives, epics, stories, workflows, dashboards, and reporting. Track project timelines, milestones, dependencies, risks, action items, and overdue deliverables across multiple workstreams. Partner with cross-functional teams including SAP, HR IT, Finance, Infrastructure, and Supply Chain to gather updates and maintain project alignment. Prepare project status reports, dashboards, executive updates, and governance documentation. Support PMO governance by improving project intake processes, documentation standards, lifecycle tracking, and project execution best practices. Ensure project data remains accurate, organized, and visible for leadership reporting. What We're Looking For 3–7+ years of IT Project Coordination, PMO, or Project Management experience. Experience supporting multiple enterprise technology initiatives simultaneously. Strong hands‑on experience with Jira (creating and managing boards, epics, stories, dashboards, workflows). Experience working within enterprise IT organizations alongside technical and business stakeholders. Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Experience supporting Agile, Scrum, or hybrid project delivery methodologies. Comfortable creating project documentation, reporting, and executive‑ready status updates.
