Job Summary and Responsibilities The Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high‑quality, patient‑centered care in accordance with the nature and specific requirements of the department and consistent with state and specialty standards of practice. Collaborates with medical providers and care team to implement individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care using established nursing models (“Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage”). Advocates for patients, families, and caregivers while modeling organizational vision and values to support outstanding patient experience and clinical outcomes. Performs procedures, monitoring, and other functions as ordered by medical providers. Documents administration of care in the patient medical record promptly and thoroughly. Educates patients, families, and caregivers about their medical condition, treatment plan, medications, side effects, and follow‑up measures. Translates complex medical terminology to ensure complete understanding. Instructs patients, families, and caregivers about non‑medicinal follow‑up measures such as healthy diet, exercise, disease prevention, and lifestyle changes. Prepares patients and caregivers for future self‑management. Manages evidence‑based practices and continuous process improvement initiatives to meet and exceed quality measures and enhance patient care. Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver a holistic patient treatment plan that promotes and supports recovery. Qualifications Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) obtained within 6 months of employment start date. Basic Cardiac Life Support (RN) certified. Registered Nurse Diploma.
