Contract (13 Weeks) | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 Hours per Week Guaranteed | Onsite | Travel

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct inpatient nursing care on a 24-bed Neuro/Ortho/Pediatrics unit serving patients of all ages (28 days and older)
• Manage a patient ratio of 1:6, delivering safe, high-quality care for trauma and post-operative Ortho/Neuro patients as well as general pediatric cases
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using the facility EHR system
• Float to other inpatient units as needed to support staffing requirements
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care plans and promote positive outcomes
• Fulfill weekend rotation requirements (3 weekends every 6 weeks)

Required Qualifications

• Active Michigan RN license (must be obtained prior to start)
• Minimum 2 years of adult Med/Surg nursing experience
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to float to inpatient units as required
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify for travel placement

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2 or more years of pediatric nursing experience
• Current PALS certification
• Experience with Paragon or Cerner EHR platforms
• Strong teamwork and collaborative approach to patient care
