Local Contract Nurse RN - Hospice - $59 per hour

Job Overview GlobalPoint is seeking a local contract Nurse RN Hospice for a contract nursing position in Moab, Utah. Position Details Specialty: Hospice Discipline: Nursing Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 40 per week (8‑hour days) Employment Type: Local Contract Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive assessments of patients’ needs and coordinate individualized care plans. Provide pain and symptom management consistent with the hospice plan of care. Educate and support patients and families regarding the disease process, self‑care techniques, end‑of‑life issues, and the hospice philosophy. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team including physicians, social workers, chaplains, and volunteers. Participate in on‑call rotation. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state, federal, and organizational policies. Qualifications Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Utah or a compact state RN license. Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, preferably in hospice, home health, or palliative care. Strong clinical assessment skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Compassionate demeanor with the ability to support patients and families during difficult times. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required for home visits; mileage reimbursement at $.70 per mile. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification. On‑Call 1‑3 shifts per week, including 3 weekends during the 13‑week contract, and able to respond within 45 minutes to patient needs. Availability to work holidays. Experience with hospice or EMR systems preferred. Compensation & Benefits Weekly pay. 401(k) retirement plan.
