Job Summary: Manage a team of laboratory staff across a large department, ensuring laboratory testing is performed in accordance with GLP regulations. Drive productivity, metrics, quality, and cross-functional delivery to support operational success in regulated LCMS bioanalysis. What You'll Be Doing: Manage and direct daily activities of assigned laboratory work group(s) through delegation, technical training, and work supervision Screen, plan, prioritize, and assign workload, tasks, and projects to meet operational objectives Partner with leadership to develop performance standards and establish relevant metrics to drive departmental success Hire, train, develop, and manage performance of staff in accordance with organizational policies and applicable regulations Identify and drive opportunities for cost savings and revenue, contributing to budget planning for consumables, instrumentation, and resourcing needs Serve as an escalation point to resolve operational, quality, safety, and supply chain challenges across multiple departments Drive CAPA closure, quality incident oversight, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement to strengthen compliance and performance What We Are Looking For: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience 8 years' experience in regulated environment and 5 years of line management experience Regulated bioanalytical LCMS experience with strong technical understanding of operations and methods In depth knowledge of GLP testing procedures and applicable laboratory testing regulations, including QA/QC principles and company-specific program requirements Other Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree The Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Needed for This Role: Strong leadership, supervision, and coaching skills with a focus on operational excellence and team development Ability to assess and prioritize multiple tasks, projects, and demands while maintaining effective working relationships with coworkers, managers, and clients Effective communication and presentation skills to influence at various levels of the business, including senior leadership What We Offer You: We put our employees at the center of everything we do and are committed to providing them, and their families, with benefits that meet their diverse and changing needs. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time).
