This role ensures reliable network connectivity, optimal performance, and adherence to security best practices across all sites and systems.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software (routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points)Monitor network performance, availability, and capacity; troubleshoot and resolve issues promptlyEnsure network security through access controls, firewall policies, VPNs, and regular patchingManage IP addressing, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocolsSupport LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN and VPN connectivity across multiple locationsCollaborate with IT teams on system upgrades, network improvements, and infrastructure projectsMaintain network documentation, diagrams, configurations, and change recordsPerform routine backups and participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planningProvide tier-2/3 support for network-related incidents and escalationsEnsure compliance with company policies and industry security standardsJob Requirements:Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience5+ years of experience administering enterprise networksStrong knowledge of routing, switching, and network security principlesHands-on experience with firewalls, VPNs, and wireless technologiesFamiliarity with network monitoring and troubleshooting toolsExperience supporting Microsoft and/or Linux-based environmentsPreferred Qualifications:Industry certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, A+, Network+, Security+)Experience with cloud networking and computing (Azure, AWS, or similar)Knowledge of SD-WAN, VoIP, or network automation toolsExperience in Enterprise multi-site or hybrid environmentsKnowledge of Windows Server operating system rolesFamiliarity with Virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)Skills & Competencies:Strong analytical and troubleshooting skillsAttention to detail and documentation disciplineAbility to prioritize and manage multiple tasksExcellent communication and collaboration skillsStrong focus on security and reliabilityWork Environment:In-office requirement at Bedford, NH headquartersMay require on-call rotation or after-hours maintenanceOccasional travel to remote sites as neededValid driver's license and driving record that meets company policyBenefits & Perks:Eligible employees may have access to a comprehensive benefits package, which may include medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) with company match, life insurance, paid time off, fitness reimbursements, tuition reimbursement, employee discounts, scholarship opportunities, and more.
