Job Description

The Shipping and Receiving Specialist will be responsible for processing incoming freight, verifying the accuracy of shipments against purchase orders, and safely packaging outbound equipment for clients. This role includes monitoring stock levels of terminals, cables, and parts using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and conducting daily and annual physical cycle counts. The Specialist will maintain a clean, PCI-compliant, and secure work environment according to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Process incoming freight and verify accuracy against purchase orders.
• Safely package outbound equipment for field or retail clients.
• Monitor stock levels using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Conduct daily and annual physical cycle counts.
• Maintain a clean and secure work environment according to safety standards.

Essential Skills

• Experience in shipping and receiving.
• Proficiency with RF scanners and pallet jacks.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and data entry.
• Inventory management and tracking experience.
• Experience with inventory software.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Forklift operation experience.
• Experience with FedEx and UPS shipping.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong data integrity and attention to detail.
• Ability to work well with others and stand for the entire shift.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Louisville, KY.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
