Business Operations Manager – Boeing Test & Evaluation The Boeing Company is looking for a Business Operations Manager to join our Boeing Test and Evaluation (BTE) team based in Seattle, Washington. The role leads the Business Operations team, driving business integration, planning, and execution for Flight Operations and other core statements of work within BT&E. Reports to the BT&E BCA Test Programs, Flight Operations, and BT&E Core Support Business Operations Senior Manager and works directly with executive leadership. The manager directs a distributed team of business operations specialists and staff analysts located in Seattle, Charleston, St. Louis, and California. Responsibilities Manage a diverse and distributed team handling complex statements of work across various BT&E organizations with competing priorities. Lead the application and execution of Program Management best practices. Ensure a standard and consistent operating rhythm to address recurring and emergent priorities with appropriate stakeholders. Develop, integrate, and coordinate commitments with internal and external organizations to fulfill business goals, objectives, and strategies. Identify, document, and implement plans to mitigate risks and issues, and capture opportunities. Communicate cost, quality, schedule, and safety imperatives. Provide ongoing training and guidance to direct reports, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Assessment Boeing First‑Line Leader Assessment: Candidates must complete the assessment as part of the selection process. Failure to complete the assessment will end consideration. Basic Qualifications Must be a “U.S. Person” as defined in 22 CFR §120.62. At least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temporary manager, large‑scale cross‑functional project/program management, or formal manager experience), or completion of Boeing’s internal course “Exploring Leadership.” 1+ years of experience managing or leading teams. 3+ years of experience with business integration. 5+ years of experience working in a cross‑functional environment with levels from individual contributors to executive leadership. 5+ years of experience with Project Planning, Scheduling, Project Management or related experience. 5+ years of experience producing and presenting presentations at the executive level. 5+ years of experience collecting, interpreting data, and managing high‑level projects for executives or senior leadership. 5+ years of experience developing and managing strong relationships with partners (internal and external), government and community customers, and representatives. Willing and able to travel domestically up to 10% of the time. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or higher. 3+ years of experience in management or leading teams. Experience in Business Operations. Experience in Flight Operations. Excellent business acumen, written and verbal skills, and ability to solve complex problems. 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Summary Pay Range for Manager (Level K): $126,650 – $171,350.
