Foremen & Leads - x4 Openings for New Data Center Project

*Location: Cedar Rapids, IA (QTS Data Center)

• We are seeking experienced Data Center Foremen and Leads to support critical infrastructure construction and installation activities at the QTS Data Center in Cedar Rapids. These positions provide onsite leadership, coordinate daily work activities, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to schedule, budget, and quality standards.

• Lead and direct field crews in daily construction, infrastructure, and installation activities.
• Establish production goals and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
• Monitor labor, material, and equipment utilization to meet project budgets and productivity targets.
• Coordinate workflow, crew assignments, and jobsite activities with Project Supervisors and Project Managers.
• Review project plans, specifications, and scope requirements to ensure quality execution.
• Identify, document, and communicate scope changes, field issues, and project risks.
• Complete daily reports, production tracking, timesheets, redlines, and other required documentation.
• Enforce company safety policies and maintain a strong zero-incident safety culture.
• Inspect completed work and resolve field issues to ensure project quality and customer satisfaction.
• Provide coaching, mentorship, and hands-on leadership to field personnel.

• Previous experience in a data center, telecommunications, utility, or related construction environment.
• Strong understanding of critical infrastructure systems, including electrical, network, cooling, and support systems.
• Proven leadership experience directing crews and managing field operations.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with customers, contractors, project teams, and field personnel.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and production excellence.

• Data center construction or mission-critical facility experience.
• Experience leading installation or infrastructure crews in large-scale commercial or industrial projects.
• Knowledge of safety regulations, quality standards, and construction best practices.

• Strong field leadership and crew accountability.
• Safe, productive, and high-quality project execution.
• Effective communication with project stakeholders.
• Consistent delivery of work that meets schedule, budget, and customer expectations.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Cedar Rapids, IA.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $45.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Cedar Rapids,IA.
