If you’re interested in a rewarding career working on ENR's #1 Construction Management-for-Fee firm, then Jacobs is where you belong.We’re seeking an experienced and collaborative Senior Superintendent in New York, NY, who thrives when people are in sync and projects are running not just on time but within budget.As the Construction Superintendent, you’ll take the lead on developing and communicating the project work plan, monitor manpower and performance against that work plan, and be able to perform a detailed comparison of the design drawings against each other to ensure coordination between each of the various project trades. You’ll provide direction to the team regarding quality, safety, and general day-to-day operations. Your ability to coordinate onsite work schedules with the client’s staff and manage multiple projects at a time will be critical to your success. Most importantly, you’ll take action to ensure the safety, health and well-being of your team. Here's what you'll need Related education, in the form of college credit or degree, or professional certification may be acceptable as partial or fulfillment of experienceMinimum 10 years of experience in construction involving multiple phases of large-scale building/rehabilitation projectsMinimum of 5 years’ experience shall be as Superintendent on large-scale, multi-contract building projectsAbility to develop and communicate a project work plan, monitor manpower and performance against the work plan, and perform a details comparison of the design drawings against each other to ensure coordination between each of the various project tradesProficient level of knowledge relative to all aspects of construction supervision Full-cycle construction background resolving issues in the fieldAbility to travel to multiple job sites Demonstrated working knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, building systems/components and technology, contract management, project delivery methods, team building and client relationship building requiredOSHA 30 or ability to be obtained within 30 days of start date#EastPMCM #NorthPMCM #LI-SD2Our health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you, and in the things you care about.
