About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President, Fund Accounting to join its private markets platform. This senior leadership role is pivotal in overseeing the accounting and financial reporting for multiple closed-end funds and separate accounts. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and mentoring a team of Accounting Managers, leading the monthly close process, and ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and SOX controls. The role also involves reviewing fund performance calculations, and consolidated reporting, and partnering with various internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 12 years' investment fund accounting experience, with a strong background in both Big Four public accounting and in-house fund accounting. A deep understanding of closed-end fund accounting, private investment vehicles, and experience with complex investment structures is essential. The role requires a professional with a CPA, and experience with Geneva and/or Investran is a plus. The Vice President, Fund Accounting will be instrumental in driving the operational excellence of the private equity platform, supporting strategic initiatives, and ensuring the continued growth of the business.
