About the Role
The Company is seeking an Assistant Vice President to lead fund accounting operations for private investment funds. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with industry standards, and engaging in strategic decision-making processes. This role involves overseeing the preparation and maintenance of financial records, accounting for various transactions, managing corporate actions, and preparing financial statements. The AVP will also be expected to drive adherence to governing documents and regulatory standards, as well as support organizational initiatives related to corporate responsibility and community engagement. Applicants must have a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a minimum of 10 years' experience in fund accounting or related roles. Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting tools is essential, as is a strong technical skill set. The role requires exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage complex financial transactions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of effectively managing distribution waterfalls and be adept at working in a hybrid environment, demonstrating adaptability and strong teamwork.
