Job Details:
The Mercer University Department of Internal Medicine is searching for a non-tenure track Faculty of Internal Medicine on the Macon, Georgia campus. Rank will be determined based on the credentials of the selected candidate.

Responsibilities :

Clinical Duties: 65% of time

• Faculty attending for in-patient ward teams - 4 to 6 months
  
• Teaching physical diagnosis for residents and/or students/clinical skills at the bedside
  
• Teaching and mentoring residents and/or students in the practice of internal medicine
  
• Participating in core curriculum conferences, morning report, student teaching rounds, and other departmental teaching conferences as needed
  
• Participating on Mercer committees as needed
  
• Other administrative duties as assigned by department chairman/PD/Dean
  
• Weekly outpatient resident teaching clinic to teach students and residents.
  

Teaching (Didactic) Duties: 35% of time

• Participating/leading PBL
  

Qualifications :

• M.D. degree
  
• Board certified/board eligible in Internal Medicine
  
• Georgia medical license or eligibility for licensure in the State of Georgia
